This bike was salvaged from the dump . Its a Universal - Made in Poland .

The Rollfast rolls again !

Rollfast...so far so good !

After taking it apart , grinding and sandblasting , a new coat of olive drab and some decals , clearcoat , new neck stem (recycled from a vintage excercise bike) handlebars from an old Specialized , seat post clamp from a 60's schwinn , front rim from a Specialized mountain bike and some new grips..

Turning a seat post on the lathe in the morning , got a few hubs to pick from to build the rear rim and I'll be on the road...

Well , the sun is out a little longer every day . With that comes the need to finish stuff up . The shop is a mess ...with lots of projects that we need to finish soon - I HATE an unorganized garage - but with this much stuff to work on , it's inevitable... these are pics of another friday night "Re-Cycling" !

Worksman Bicycle Parts...

Well , we are rebuilding an old Worksman bicycle . I Needed new spokes so in December I called Worksman and put my order in - 12 weeks later I contacted Worksman about the order and still have not got a response. I do my absolute best to support American companies . But companies go out of business and wonder why  . After searching bicycle web sites I found that this is a common issue with this company . It's a shame, as they produce a good product .

In this economy , companies need to remember customer service . I was willing to pay more to an American company -but this time - a Chinese company sold me the parts cheaper and got them to me in 4 days.....
