Living in America....

Ok , Ok . I know that Alaska is IN America. For the 13 years I lived there I learned to do without. I learned to appreciate the little things , While living in the interior - I learned to live without electricity , phone and water- and I LOVED IT! Living on the Panhandle - I learned to live without some things like choices . Choices in stores , restaurants and such. But The friends I made was all worth the small inconveniences.
But today - I live in a city . In Arizona. For all the bad , there is a lot I am grateful for - TONS of choices , great winter weather , lots to do and most of all that Kati is here with me , enjoying the "benefits" of city life.
After a few months though - I'm already missing the great outdoors - so I will soak up some of the sun and easy livin while we're here , but........ I'm sure a sweet backwoods adventure is on the horizon for us!

One of the coolest things about where we live now - The bicycle routes can take you through awesome places ! This day was our first ride on the Canal Trail in Scottsdale - I can get to work in less miles and about the same drive time by taking one of two bike trails here .
